About me
A journey toward conscious movement and deep embodiment
My Story
My journey began in 2005, when I first stepped onto a yoga mat in search of authentic self-expression. What started as curiosity soon became a deep practice of embodiment and mindfulness. In 2013, I began teaching, and over the years I’ve immersed myself in many styles of yoga, from hatha, ashtanga, and dharma, to vinyasa flow, restorative, and yin. I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the most inspiring teachers, both internationally and here in Zagreb, whose guidance and generosity have shaped the way I teach today.
In 2024, I completed a 500-hour teacher training at the Dharmaway Center in Zagreb. My approach to teaching yoga is intuitive, fluid, and unburdened, rooted in careful listening to my students’ needs. I believe in a practice that is gentle yet powerful, one that supports the body, prevents injury, and nurtures the nervous system through meditative and restorative sequences. For me, yoga is not about rigid discipline or pushing limits; it’s about softening, opening energy pathways, and creating space within the body.
Alongside yoga, I’ve found profound joy and freedom in belly dance, exploring fusion, American Tribal Style (ATS), and oriental styles. Through dance, I’ve discovered new ways of expressing emotion, celebrating femininity, and connecting more deeply with myself and others.
I hold degrees in Croatian language, literature, and pedagogy, with research focused on the somatic and therapeutic potential of dance and yoga. Teaching has always been my calling, and guiding others through movement, whether in a quiet yoga class or a vibrant dance workshop, brings me true fulfillment.
I believe movement is one of the most powerful tools for self-discovery. Through belly dance and yoga, we create space where body, mind, and spirit can meet, in a practice that both challenges and celebrates us, and reminds us of the joy of being alive.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in the belief that every body has its own wisdom and that each person carries within them the capacity for graceful, conscious movement. The focus is not on perfect technique, but on authentic expression and deep connection with oneself.
Non-Judgmental Space
Creating space where every movement is celebrated and respected.
Personalized Guidance
Adapting practice to individual needs and abilities.
Holistic Approach
Integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of movement.
COMMUNITY
I believe in the power of women's circles where we support and inspire each other. Beyond formal classes, I organize gatherings and events where we can share our experiences and grow together.
